This record began life as an undated record with the death date of 1829 being added by the import of *Two years' residence in the settlement on the English Prairie, in the Illinois country, United States : with an account of its animal and vegetable productions, agriculture, &c. &c., a description of the principal towns, villages, &c. &c., with the habits and customs of the back-woodsmen* but that death date was ignored for most of the life of this record due to a bug in the import matching. An unknown number of author's works are conflated here and will need to be teased out.
