Michael McGee

Michael is a Canadian fantasy author from Edmonton Alberta. Michael's mental health condition, Asperger's, gives him a unique view of the world and is an asset in his writing. He began writing as a hobby while attending Grant MacEwan University to become a forensic analyst. Learning about his condition and exploring knowledge to improve his writing through Steve and Dani Alcorn's courses at Writing Academy has given Michael a new way of seeing how his difference can be used. While primarily focusing on fantasy, he has a short story published in an anthology with Writing Academy, Michael also explores romance and slice of life stories in his work. In his free time, Michael enjoys skiing in the Canadian mountains and always enjoys hitting the golf course as long as there's beer and friends.
