Charles G. D. Roberts
Canadian poet and prose writer who wrote about Canadian exploration and natural history, verse, travel books, and fiction. Has been called "Father of Canadian Poetry." Suffered a posthumous collapse of his reputation due to the unyielding conservatism of his poetry.
