John R. Wikse

<b><a href="http://www.shimer.edu/aboutshimercollege/jackwikse.cfm">John R. Wikse</a></b> (b. 1944) is an American political scientist and educator. He is a former member of the faculty at <a href="http://shimer.edu">Shimer College</a>, and currently serves as faculty coordinator of the <a href="http://www.sonoma.edu/exed/libs">degree completion program</a> at the <a href="http://www.sonoma.edu/hutchins/">Hutchins School of Liberal Studies</a> at Sonoma State University. At Shimer, Wikse also led the school's <a href="http://www.shimer.edu/academicprograms/undergraduate/shimerinoxfordprogram.cfm">Oxford study abroad program</a> and the <a href="http://www.shimer.edu/academicprograms/undergraduate/weekendprogram.cfm">weekend degree program</a>. Wikse also formerly served as Research Director at the Lifwynn Foundation. His works include the book <i>About Possession</i>.
