Ruzo (1900-1991) was certainly one of the grandfathers of the new modern Age. Markawasi is a unique mountain top, geologically unlike any of the surrounding Andes, located 80KM north east of Lima, Peru. **Daniel Ruzo**, a genius by his own definition, has dedicated his life to the study of sacred sites around the world. The works of art referred to in the introduction of his book are the monuments, monolithic sculptures, some megaliths, which are found on top of Markawasi. There are hundreds of these monuments on the small plateau. They are so large, so clear that even someone who isn’t a seeker cannot argue their existence.
