Sid Chaplin

Sid Chaplin, by-name of Sidney Chaplin, (born Sept. 20, 1916, Shildon, Durham, Eng. died Jan. 11,1986), British novelist and short-story writer noted for his mastery of detail and local colour in his depictions of working-class life.
