Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food

The **Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food**, also known as **MAFF**, was a British governmental department from 1955 until it was merged with other departments to become **Defra**, the **Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs** in 2001.
