Henrietta Hamilton

Henrietta Hamilton is the pseudonym under which **Hester Denne Shepherd** wrote four books featuring amateur detectives Johnny and Sally Heldar. She was born in Dundee (Scotland)‏ in 1920 and passed away in 1995. "During the Second World War, she served in the Wrens. Afterwards, she worked in a London bookshop, gaining first-hand experience of antiquarian bookselling, which is the background of her crime-solving duo."
