The saga of Aslak
Written by the winner of the 1987 Carnegie Medal, this saga is set at the time of the Vikings and recounts the adventures of Aslak and Astrid, two young slaves. Aslak returns home to discover that his sister has been sold and so begins his long quest to find her.
