A nest of simple folk

A good picture of Irish family life and the island's political forces is provided in this story of three generations of simple Irish folk living in the southwestern part of the island between 1854 and 1916. The central character is Leo Foxe-Donnel, who spent a large part of his existence in prison because of his Fenian proclivities.
