The Viscount's witch

Raised in poverty, and born out of wedlock, Vanessa must disguise herself as a boy after she is orphaned and loses her house. Through chance she is taken on as a page by a handsome viscount, who soon discovers her disguise but for his own purposes does not let her know. In their travels though she also happens upon a nobleman who believes her to be his daughter. He urges her to move in with him, and give up her masquerade with the viscount.
