Saamskai︠a︡ literatura

Sami is one of the ancient peoples of Europe. The first written record of them dates back to the year 98 (referring to the book of the Roman historian Tacitus on Germany). Today the Sami live in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. Their total number is about 70 thousand people (of which two thousand are living in the Murmansk region of Russia). This book focuses on the literature of the Sami people.
