Recovered memories of abuse

The first part of this book records the proceedings of a very remarkable conference held in June 1994 at University College, London on the validity or otherwise of recovered memories of abuse. The second part consists of a detailed review by Peter Fonagy and Mary Target of the present status of early memories and the possibilities for their later recovery, followed by a discussion by Joseph Sandler and Anne-Marie Sandler of a psychoanalytic approach to the question of recovered memories.
