Fall of the Stone City

1943. German soldiers advance on Gjirokastr, Albania, the first step in a carefully planned invasion. But the troops are taken aback by an act of rebellion that leaves the citizens fearful of a bloody counter-attack. Soon rumours circulate that the Nazi Colonel was a school acquaintance of a local dignitary - then he and his army disappear.
