Cold Shoulder

Forced out of the Los Angeles Police Department when she shoots dead an innocent boy while drunk on duty, Lorraine Page sinks rapidly into alcoholism, petty crime and prostitution. But when a serial killer chooses his victims from the demi-mondaine of Los Angeles, Lorraine becomes drawn into the search, and must battle her alcohol addiction to find a new career as a private investigator.
