The Pie of Mem

The people living on the newly discovered planet Mem all share something in common-periodic memory loss and missing time. Their planet isn't spherical but flat with three equal sized countries. During an expedition around Mem one team member discovers the cause and cure for everyone's loss of memory but never survives to pass on the secret.
