Alpenrose

The hotel was called the Alpenrose. The vacancy was for that of a resident representative. THe place was Interlaken. It would have been perfect, thought Mari, if it had not been for the proprietor, Herr Karel von Werner, whom it did not seem she could please at all! And she found herself wanting to--in more ways than one!
