The Chelbeck Charger

The spring of 1816 finds wealthy Sir Ralph Marwood once again in town to find husbands for his daughters. When a chance encounter throws the dashing Piers Aubery in their path, he is delighted. But Emily, who appears to be the prime object of Piers's attentions, cannot like him. Her efforts to prevent a match between them are complicated by the advent of the Chelbeck Charger.
