Ushkovsky (, formerly known as Plosky) is a large volcanic massif located in the central part of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. It is located at the northwestern end of the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano group. These volcanoes are also set in a chain linked formation. The highest peak of this massif is Krestovsky (4108 m). Krestovsky is a stratovolcano, Ushkovsky is a shield volcano.

Dreiländerspitze
The Dreiländerspitze is with one of the higher mountains in the Silvretta range in the eastern Alps and located on the Austria–Switzerland border. The borders of the Swiss canton of Graubünden and the Austrian states of Vorarlberg and Tyrol meet at the peak. Its name (Dreiländerspitze means peak of three countries) refers to a meeting point between the territories of three ancient tribes (Rhaeto-Romance or Romansch, Bavarii and Alamanni) and their languages. It is also on the watershed between the Rhine and Danube.

Toussidé (also known as Tarso Toussidé) is a potentially active stratovolcano in Chad. Toussidé lies in the Tibesti Mountains; the large Yirrigué caldera and the smaller Trou au Natron and Doon Kidimi craters are close to it. It has an elevation of above sea level. Lastarria is a high stratovolcano that lies on the border between Chile and Argentina. It is remote, and the surroundings are uninhabited but can be reached through an unpaved road. The volcano is part of the Central Volcanic Zone, one of the four segments of the volcanic arc of the Andes. Over a thousand volcanoes—of which about 50 are active—lie in this over long chain of volcanoes, which is generated by subduction of the Nazca Plate beneath the South American Plate.

The Similaun () is a mountain in the Schnalskamm group of the Ötztal Alps. It is on the Austrian-Italian border. At 3,599 m, it is Austria's sixth highest summit. It was first ascended in 1834 by Josef Raffeiner and Theodor Kaserer. It is most famous for being the mountain on whose slopes Helmut Simon and Erika Simon discovered Ötzi the Iceman in 1991.
