is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by about a clumsy boy, Mitsuo Suwa, who is chosen to become a powerful superhero to save the world along with other superheroes. The manga series was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday in 1967. The first anime series was first produced in black-and-white in 1967. The second anime series was made in color in 1983 with short films releasing in 1983, 2003 and 2004.

is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shigeru Mizuki. Several versions of the manga exist, one of which was adapted into a live-action television series which aired on NET and its affiliates from October 1966 to March 1967, a television film which aired on Fuji Television in 1985 and an anime television series titled in English as Devil Boy which aired from April 1989 to March 1990 on the same channel as the 1966 drama, now named as TV Asahi since 1977 and its affiliates.

Robotan
is a Japanese anime and manga series created by Kenji Morita. The series revolves around household robot Robotan, who is created by a boy and lives with the family as a domestic servant and friend to the children. His good intentions don't always work out, and there are comical consequences. The original series was produced by Daiko Advertising. Production moved to Tokyo Movie Shinsha for the 20th-anniversary color remake New Robotan (1986) under director Masaharu Okuwaki.
