Baazigar
Baazigar () is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan and produced by Venus Movies. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Shilpa Shetty (in her acting debut), Dalip Tahil, and Raakhee. The film follows a young man seeking to avenge the fall of his family by going on a murderous rampage. It is loosely based on the 1991 film A Kiss Before Dying which was adapted from Ira Levin's 1953 novel of the same. The soundtrack was composed by Anu Malik.

Catchfire
Catchfire is a 1990 American romantic action thriller film directed by Dennis Hopper and starring Hopper, Jodie Foster, Dean Stockwell, Vincent Price, John Turturro, and Fred Ward, with cameo appearances by several notable actors, including Charlie Sheen, Joe Pesci, Catherine Keener, and Bob Dylan. The film was disowned by Hopper before its release and he is therefore credited under the pseudonym Alan Smithee. The film underperformed at the box office and received overwhelmingly negative reviews by film critics.

The film is one of the highest-grossing movies of the year 1991. It is an unofficial remake of 1976 American film Taxi Driver. This film was remade in Tamil as Appu (2000). A sequel, Sadak 2, was released on 28 August 2020 on Disney+ Hotstar, to extremely negative reviews.
