EasyTag (stylised as EasyTAG) is a free and open-source graphical tag editor that is part of the GNOME project. EasyTag runs on Linux and Microsoft Windows, and there was an attempt to bring EasyTAG to OS X circa 2014. It is written in C and relies on GTK+ and id3lib for graphics and ID3 tag handling respectively. As of version 2.1.1, EasyTag also uses the tag manipulation library provided by the MAD project, for support of ID3v2.4.

A successor to ART/fw, a full-color graphics tool developed for Windows 3.1, ver. 0 was released in the fall of 1998 and celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2013. The program is still being upgraded at a high frequency.

openCanvas is a raster graphics software developed and published by PGN Corp. It was originally released as freeware in 2000, but moved to a shareware model starting with version 2. All functions are available during the limited demo period. A higher performance version "openCanvas Plus" has been released simultaneously since version 3. Its functions are similar to Adobe Photoshop or Corel Painter.
