BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, who co-write or co-produce much of their material. N.Flying (, Japanese: ; short for New Flying which also means 'new wings' or 'new escape') is a South Korean rap rock band formed by FNC Entertainment in 2013. The group released its first digital indie single "Basket" in Japan on October 1, 2013, with the four-member line-up of Kwon Kwang-jin, Lee Seung-hyub, Cha Hun and Kim Jae-hyun. The group officially debuted in Korea on May 20, 2015, with the EP Awesome. A fifth member, Yoo Hwe-seung was added to the band in June 2017. Kwang-jin left the group on December 26, 2018, and was replaced by Seo Dong-sung on January 1, 2020.

Seenroot () was a South Korean musical duo, signed under Kakao M's indie sub-label Mun Hwa In. The pair's debut mini-album was released in 2015. The record's lead single "Sweet Heart" did not see success until two years after its release, when a broadcast jockey sang the song in midst of live streaming and became a viral video. It led the song to peak at number 13 on the national Gaon Digital Chart, where it sold nearly 1.3 million downloads by the end of 2017.
