The Fall-Off
The Fall-Off is the seventh and final studio album by American rapper J. Cole. Released through Cole World, Dreamville Records, and Interscope Records on February 6, 2026. It started development in 2016 and was first publicly teased in 2018. An unspecified event c. 2024, interpreted by various publications to be the Drake–Kendrick Lamar feud, inspired Cole to expand the concept, resulting in a double album. The Fall-Off tells the story of two visits to Cole's home city of Fayetteville, North Carolina, once at age twenty-nine and again at age thirty-nine.

The album features a wide range of contributors, including guest appearances from BossMan Dlow, Brent Faiyaz, Gorillaz, Doechii, Jessica Pratt, Sauce Walka, Slay Squad, Westside Gunn, and will.i.am; digital editions additionally feature Jozzy, Tokischa, and Tyler, the Creator. It is Rocky's first album in almost eight years, since Testing (2018).

The album features guest appearances from Travis Scott, André Troutman, CeeLo Green, Don Toliver, and Peso Pluma. Production was handled by West and Troutman themselves, the Legendary Traxster, Nkenge 1x, and 88-Keys, among others. "Father", a collaboration with Travis Scott, was released as the album's lead single along with its release.

Produced by frequent collaborators Kid Harpoon and Tyler Johnson, the album features background vocals from Ellie Rowsell and the House Gospel Choir; additional contributors include Tom Skinner, John Metcalfe, and Jules Buckley. Musically, it marks a departure from the city pop and R&B influences of his previous album, Harry's House (2022), in favour of a dance-pop sound influenced by electronic music.

The album is the group's first release since they went on hiatus for each member to complete their military service. It follows their live album Permission to Dance on Stage – Live (2025) and marks their first studio album in nearly six years, following Be (2020). Arirang was written and composed with a variety of musicians, including Pdogg, Diplo, Ryan Tedder, Jasper Harris, Kevin Parker, Mike Will Made-It, Artemas, and JPEGMafia, among others.
