It will be the 21st Backlash event and will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. It will be held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions.

WrestleMania 42, also promoted as WrestleMania Vegas, was a 2026 professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the 42nd annual WrestleMania and took place as a two-night event on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. Retired WWE wrestler and brand ambassador John Cena was the host for the event.

The 2026 Royal Rumble, also promoted as Royal Rumble: Riyadh, was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by the American company WWE. It was the 39th annual Royal Rumble and took place on January 31, 2026, at Riyadh Season Stadium, a purpose-built temporary outdoor stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of the 2025–2026 Riyadh Season. The event featured wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT brand divisions, along with special appearances of wrestlers from WWE's Mexican sister promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.

The 2026 Elimination Chamber, also promoted as Elimination Chamber: Chicago, was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event produced by WWE. It was the 16th Elimination Chamber event and took place on February 28, 2026, at United Center in Chicago, Illinois, held for wrestlers from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brand divisions. The event was based around the Elimination Chamber match, a type of multi-person elimination-based Steel Cage match in which championships or future opportunities at championships are at stake.

The 2026 NXT Stand & Deliver, also promoted as NXT Stand & Deliver: St. Louis, was a professional wrestling livestreaming event produced by WWE for its developmental brand NXT. It was the sixth annual Stand & Deliver and took place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at The Factory at The District in the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield, Missouri. This was the first Stand & Deliver to take place outside of WrestleMania week and NXT's first standalone event to stream on YouTube in the United States.
