Queen of Austrasia

Galswintha (540–568) was a queen consort of Neustria. She was the daughter of Athanagild, Visigothic king of Hispania (the Iberian Peninsula, comprising modern Spain and Portugal), and Goiswintha. Galswintha was the sister of Brunhilda—queen consort of Austrasia—and the wife of Chilperic I, the Merovingian king of Neustria. Galswintha was probably murdered at the urging of Chilperic's former concubine Fredegund (and then later wife), instigating a 40-year civil war within the Merovingian kingdom.

Amalafrida (; before 475 – fl. 523) was queen of the Vandals by marriage to Thrasamund. She was the daughter of Theodemir, king of the Ostrogoths, and his wife Erelieva. She was the sister of Theodoric the Great, and mother of Theodahad, both of whom also were kings of the Ostrogoths.

Audofleda ( – ), was a Gothic queen of the Ostrogothic Kingdom by marriage to Theoderic the Great.

Goiswintha or Goisuintha (died 588) was a Visigothic queen consort of Hispania and Septimania. She was the wife of two kings, Athanagild and Liuvigild. The Visigothic Kingdom during the late 6th century was going through a period of political and religious transformation. Located on the Iberian Peninsula, the kingdom incorporated many Roman traditions, laws, and religious practices as much of their population was Catholic, while the ruling elite were still Arian Christian. As queen, Goiswintha played a crucial role in the religious conflicts between Arians and Catholics. Goiswintha's actions,

Shirin (; died 628) was wife of the Sasanian emperor Khosrow II (). In the revolution after the death of Khosrow's father Hormizd IV, the General Bahram Chobin took power over the Persian empire. Shirin fled with Khosrow to Syria, where they lived under the protection of Byzantine emperor Maurice.

Aregund, Aregunda, Arnegund, Aregonda, or Arnegonda ( 515/520–580) was a Frankish queen. She is the earliest known queen of Francia.

Amalaberga (fl. 531), was a queen consort of Thüringhia. She was the daughter of Amalafrida, daughter of Theodemir, king of the Ostrogoths.

Guntheuc (also spelled Gondioc) ( 495 – 532) was a Frankish queen consort. She was first married to King Chlodomer and later to his younger brother, King Chlothar I.

Ingoberga ( 520/535 – 589 in Tours) was a Frankish queen consort, the first wife of the Frankish king Charibert I.

Carétène (also Caretena) (born died September 16, 506) was the wife of Gundobad, king of the Burgundians. Unlike her husband, who was an Arian, Carétène was a Catholic. She was probably the mother of Sigismund of Burgundy.
