Aabenraa
Aabenraa (; , ; South Jutlandic: Affenråe, also spelled Åbenrå) is a town in Southern Denmark, at the head of the Aabenraa Fjord, an arm of the Little Belt, north of the Denmark–Germany border and north of German town of Flensburg. It was the seat of Sønderjyllands Amt (South Jutland County) until 1 January 2007, when the Region of Southern Denmark was created as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform. With a population of 16,500 (1 January 2025), Aabenraa is the largest town and the seat of the Aabenraa Municipality.

Padborg
Padborg () is a southern Danish border town with a population of 4,318 (1 January 2025) located on the border with Germany. It is the location where both the E45 motorway, a railway and the historic Danish Army Road, hærvejen, cross the border.
