Acireale

Acireale (; , locally shortened to or ) is a coastal city and municipality in the north-east of the Metropolitan City of Catania in the autonomous region of Sicily in Italy, at the foot of Mount Etna, on the coast facing the Ionian Sea. With a population of 50,579, it is the second-largest municipality in the metropolitan city.
