Martinair (legally Martinair Holland N.V.) is a Dutch cargo and passenger airline headquartered and based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The airline was founded in 1958 by Martin Schröder, and is currently a subsidiary of Air France–KLM. Since 1 November 2011, Martinair has operated entirely as a cargo airline with scheduled services to 20 destinations worldwide and additional charter flights. Prior to that date, passenger flights were also operated.

Interflug GmbH (; ) was the national airline of East Germany (officially the “German Democratic Republic”) from 1963 to 1991. Based in East Berlin, it operated scheduled and chartered flights to European and intercontinental destinations out of its hub at Berlin Schönefeld Airport, focusing on Comecon countries. Interflug also had significant crop dusting operations. Following German reunification, the company was liquidated.

Itavia was an Italian airline founded in 1958 and based at Rome Ciampino Airport. During the 1960s it became one of the main private airlines of Italy, until its collapse in the early 1980s, following the loss of Flight 870, also known as the "Ustica Disaster". Itavia was headquartered in Rome.
