LMFAO (an initialism for Laughing My Freaking Ass Off) was an American electronic dance music duo consisting of Redfoo and Sky Blu. The duo are best known for their 2011 singles "Party Rock Anthem" (featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock) and "Sexy and I Know It", both of which peaked atop the Billboard Hot 100. They released two studio albums: Party Rock (2009) and Sorry for Party Rocking (2011) through will.i.am Music Group, an imprint of Interscope Records until their disbandment in 2012.

NSYNC ( ; also stylized as *NSYNC or N Sync) was an American vocal group and pop boy band formed by Chris Kirkpatrick in Orlando, Florida, in 1995 and launched in Germany by BMG Ariola Munich. The group consisted of Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Justin Timberlake, and Jason Galasso who soon left and was replaced by Lance Bass. Their debut album NSYNC was successfully released to European countries in 1997 and later entered the American market with the single "I Want You Back".

Karmin were an American pop duo consisting of Nick and Amy Renee Noonan. Starting as a novelty act that released covers on YouTube, they signed in 2011 with Epic Records. In May 2012, Karmin released their debut EP Hello, which spawned the singles "Brokenhearted" and "Hello", and received mixed reviews. Shalamar (, ) is an American R&B and soul music vocal group created by Dick Griffey and Don Cornelius in 1977 and active throughout the 1980s. Shalamar's classic lineup on the SOLAR label consisted of Howard Hewett, Jody Watley, and Jeffrey Daniel. It was originally a disco-driven group created by Soul Train booking agent Dick Griffey and show creator and producer Don Cornelius. They went on to be an influential dance trio managed by Dick Griffey. Initially signed to Soul Train Records they transferred to Griffey's Solar Records after the Cornelius-Griffey Entertainment company was dissolved.
