MGMT
MGMT () is an American rock band formed by singers and multi-instrumentalists Andrew VanWyngarden and Benjamin Goldwasser in 2002 in Middletown, Connecticut. The band was originally known as "The Management" before rebranding as MGMT in 2005. Originally signed to Cantora Records by the nascent label's co-founder, New York University undergrad Will Griggs, MGMT later signed with Columbia and RED Ink in 2006 and released their debut album Oracular Spectacular the next year.

(Martin) Schmidt and Drew Daniel are the core members, but they frequently include other artists on their records and in their performances notably including J Lesser. Mantronix
Mantronix was an influential 1980s hip hop and electro funk music group from New York City. The band was formed by DJ Kurtis Mantronik (Kurtis el Khaleel) and rapper MC Tee (Touré Embden).
