G-Unit (short for Guerilla-Unit) was an American hip hop group formed by longtime friends and East Coast rappers 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks. Brockhampton was an American hip-hop group founded in San Marcos, Texas, in 2014. Formed partially through online forums, the group was often noted for their size, diversity, and prolific discography. The group's final line-up included vocalists Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, and Dom McLennon, producers/vocalists JOBA, Bearface, and Jabari Manwa, producers Romil Hemnani and Kiko Merley, graphic designer Henock Sileshi (HK), photographer Ashlan Grey, web designer Roberto Ontenient, and manager Jon Nunes.

Suicideboys (stylized as $uicideboy$) is an American hip-hop duo from New Orleans, Louisiana. Suicideboys were founded in 2013 by cousins Scott "Scrim" Arceneaux Jr. and Aristos "Ruby da Cherry" Petrou. The duo initially rose to popularity on SoundCloud for their abrasive, self-produced beats and harsh lyrical content, as well as their music videos and themes prominently featuring substance abuse and suicidal ideation. They own and operate their own label, G*59 Records, under which all of their music is distributed by The Orchard.

Flobots is an experimental hip hop band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2005 by Jamie Laurie. The band's origins date back 5 years earlier to a similar project by Laurie. Flobots found mainstream success with their major label debut Fight with Tools (2007), featuring the single "Handlebars", which became a popular hit on Modern Rock radio in April 2008. B2K (Boys of the New Millennium) is an American boy band active from 1998 to 2004 and 2018 to 2019, and having re-formed again in 2025. In 1998, the group was formed by American dance choreographer Dave Scott and Interscope A&R Keshia Gamble. The members consisted of Lil' Fizz, J-Boog, Raz-B, and Omarion. The group released their self-titled debut album on March 12, 2002. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the U.S. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. On 10 June 2025, it was reported that the group had announced a reunion tour for 2026.

Mantronix was an influential 1980s hip hop and electro funk music group from New York City. The band was formed by DJ Kurtis Mantronik (Kurtis el Khaleel) and rapper MC Tee (Touré Embden). The group is primarily remembered for its pioneering blend of old school hip hop, electronic, and club music. They underwent several genre and line-up changes during its seven-year existence between 1984 and 1991, and released five albums beginning with their 1985 debut The Album.

Formed in 1981 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, Stetsasonic was one of the first hip hop acts to perform with a full band and use live instrumentation in their recordings, paving the way for future hip hop bands such as the Roots. Aziatix
Aziatix was a Korean–American hip hop and R&B trio consisting of members Flowsik, Eddie Shin, and Nicky Lee. The group, which was based in Seoul, South Korea, debuted in 2011 and won Best New Asian Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards later that year. In 2013, the group signed a lucrative contract with Cash Money Records, which was the largest record deal to date between a U.S. record label and a music act from Asia. The name of the group is a variation of the word "asiatic". Aziatix disbanded in 2015.
