Säntis
At above sea level, Säntis () is the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland. It is also the culminating point of the whole Appenzell Alps, between Lake Walen and Lake Constance. Shared by three cantons, the mountain is a highly visible landmark thanks to its exposed northerly position within the Alpstein massif. As a consequence, houses called Säntisblick (English: Säntis view) can be found in regions as far away as the Black Forest in Germany. Alpstein
The Alpstein are a subgroup of the Appenzell Alps in Eastern Switzerland. The Alpstein massif is located south of the village of Appenzell and extends across the cantons of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Appenzell Ausserrhoden and St. Gallen. It is a popular tourist site.
Ebenalp
The Ebenalp is the northernmost summit of the Alpstein in the Appenzell Alps, Switzerland. The mountain is a popular paragliding and hiking destination.
Mattstock
The Mattstock (also known as Mattstogg) is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps with an elevation of , overlooking the Walensee in the canton of St. Gallen. It lies south of the Speer, on the range between the Toggenburg and the Linth valley. It is the Hausberg of Amden.

Seealpsee
Seealpsee is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1,143.2 m, the surface area is . The lake can be reached by foot from Wasserauen or from Ebenalp. It is a popular tourist destination. A network of routes around Ebenalp connects Seealpsee with other notable sights in the Appenzell Alps, such as the Wildkirchli and Säntis. The Seealpsee provides hydroelectric power and drinking water to the town of Appenzell through the , which is run by the Feuerschaugemeinde.
Tweralpspitz
The Tweralpspitz is a mountain in the Appenzell Alps, located near Wattwil in the canton of St. Gallen. With an elevation of , it is the highest point of the chain situated north of Ricken Pass.
Stockberg
The Stockberg is a mountain of the Appenzell Alps, overlooking Nesslau in the Toggenburg region in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It lies on the range west of the Säntis (Alpstein).

The Selun is one of the peaks of the Churfirsten range, located in the Appenzell Alps. It lies between the valley of Toggenburg and Lake Walenstadt in the canton of St. Gallen. The summit is easily accessible by a trail on the northern side.
