buñuelo
A buñuelo (, alternatively called boñuelo, bimuelo, birmuelo, bermuelo, bumuelo, burmuelo, or bonuelo, is a fried dough fritter found in Spain, Latin America, and other regions with a historical connection to Spaniards or Sephardic Jews, including Southwest Europe, the Balkans, Anatolia, where the sweet form is called lokma and the rest pişi, and parts of Asia and North Africa. Buñuelos are traditionally prepared at Christmas, Easter, and Hanukkah. They will usually have a filling or a topping. In Mexican cuisine, it is often served with a syrup made with piloncillo.

Pastafrola or pasta frolla () is a type of sweet tart that originated in Italy and is common in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Egypt and Greece. It is a covered, jam-filled shortcrust pastry dish principally made from flour, sugar and egg. Common fillings include quince cheese, dulce de batata (sweet potato jam), dulce de leche, guava, or strawberry jam. The covering of the tart is a thin-striped lattice which displays the filling beneath in rhomboidal or square sections. Pastafrola is most usually oven-baked in a circular shape. Most of the Greek versions of this dish are filled with sweet jam

Chocotorta (a portmanteau of "choco" for "chocolinas" and "torta", Spanish for "cake") is a typical no-bake dessert of Argentina that is made with chocolate biscuits or cookies—specifically the Chocolinas brand produced by Bagley—that are soaked with milk or coffee and layered with a mixture of dulce de leche and cream cheese.
