average
In mathematics, an average of a collection or group is a value that is most central, common, or typical in some sense, and represents its overall position. In mathematics, it most commonly refers to the arithmetic mean, but may also refer to other measures such as other types of mean, the median, or the mode.
prime-counting function
function representing the number of primes less than or equal to a given number
arithmetic function
any function whose domain is the positive integers and whose range is a subset of the complex numbers
Von Mangoldt function
Function on an integer n which is log(p) if n equals p^k; zero otherwise
integer sequence
ordered succession of integers, defined by a formula, recurrence, or property of its members
prime gap
difference between two successive prime numbers
Mertens function
summatory function of the Möbius function
Dirichlet convolution
convolution operation defined on complex‐valued functions over positive integers
Möbius inversion formula
relation between pairs of arithmetic functions
aliquot sequence
mathematical recursive sequence
Chebyshev function
mathematical function
additive function
arithmetic function such that the image of the product of two coprimes is the sum of their images
Gauss circle problem
problem of counting integer points within a circle of given radius centered at the origin
aliquot sum
sum of all proper divisors of a natural number
Bell series
arithmetic derivative
function defined on integers in number theory
Landau's function
function which returns the largest least common multiple of any partition of its input
