Arnis, also known as eskrima/escrima or kali, is the national martial art of the Philippines. These three terms are, sometimes, interchangeable in referring to traditional martial arts of the Philippines ("Filipino Martial Arts", or FMA), which emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons, as well as "open hand" techniques without weapons.

The kampilan (Baybayin: ) is a type of single-edged sword, traditionally used by various ethnic groups in the Philippine archipelago, Kalimantan and Sulawesi. It has a distinct profile, with the tapered blade being much broader and thinner at the point than at its base, sometimes with a protruding spikelet along the flat side of the tip. It is a long sword usually held in both hands. The design of the pommel varies between ethnic groups, but it usually depicts either a buaya (crocodile), a bakunawa (sea serpent), a kalaw (hornbill), or a kakatua (cockatoo)..
Kalis
A kalis (Baybayin: ; Jawi script: كاليس ;Abecedario: cális) is a type of Philippine sword derived from the wider Southeast Asian, originally Javanese keris, better known as kris. It differs in that the Philippine kris or kalis tends to be a sword, not a dagger, and thus often called a "kris sword".
Panabas
The panabas is a chopping bladed weapon or tool from the Philippines, variously described as both a sword and a battle axe. It has a distinctive long straight haft and a curving blade of various designs. It can range in size from and can be held with one or both hands, delivering a deep, meat cleaver-like cut.

Kombatan is a Filipino martial arts system. The founder of the system was GGM Ernesto Amador Presas (10th DAN). The current head of the system is Ernesto Presas Jr. The style is known for its double stick techniques, but it features other stick and blade techniques, as well as empty-hand methods.
