Årås is the administrative centre of Austrheim Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located in the central part of the island of Fosnøyna, about northeast of the village of Austrheim.

Fensfjorden
Fensfjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. The long fjord begins in the North Sea at Holmengrå Lighthouse and flows to the southeast through the municipalities of Austrheim, Gulen, Alver, and Masfjorden. The fjord ends on the Masfjorden-Alver border where it splits into two fjords: Masfjorden (which flows to the northeast into Masfjorden Municipality) and Austfjorden (which flows southeast into Alver Municipality).

Fedjefjorden is a fjord in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the municipalities of Fedje, Austrheim, Alver, and Øygarden. The fjord has a width of about and extends about from Holmengrå Lighthouse (at the northern end) to the island of Seløyna (at the southern end) where it joins the Hjeltefjorden which flows further south towards the city of Bergen.
Fosnøyna
Fosnøyna is an island in Austrheim Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island makes up the majority of the land area of the municipality. The island is located east of the Fedjefjorden and south of the Fensfjorden. The island of Radøy lies just south of Fosnøyna and the mainland of the Lindås peninsula lies immediately to the east of Fosnøyna.
