Bautzen
Bautzen () or Budyšin (), until 1868 Budissin in German, is a town in eastern Saxony, Germany, and the administrative centre of the district of Bautzen. It is located on the Spree river, is the eighth most populous town in Saxony, and is the seat of Saxony's largest district. Bautzen lies in the bilingual Sorbian settlement area (Serbski sydlenski rum) of Lusatia, and is Lusatia's third-largest town after Cottbus and Görlitz, as well as the second-largest town in Upper Lusatia.

Wuhladko (Upper Sorbian for "prospect") is the name of a half-hour television programme in Upper Sorbian language. It has been broadcast every month since 2001 by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR), and is presented by Bogna Koreng. The programme mainly deals with Sorbian topics from Upper Lusatia, but also deals with politics from Saxony and Germany, which affect the Sorbs throughout Lusatia.

Baudissin
thumb|The coat of arms of the Baudissin-family. The Baudissin family is a German noble family of Sorbian origin, first mentioned in 1326 in Upper Lusatia, now part of Saxony. At the time Bautzen, the district capital, was called Budissin, whence the name originated. All name bearers, including those of family lines like Baudissin-Zinzendorf and Baudissin-Zinzendorf-Pottendorf, are Counts or Countesses.
