Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen () is a village and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The municipality comprises the other villages of Wengen, Mürren, Gimmelwald, Stechelberg, and Isenfluh, as well as several other hamlets. The population of the village of Lauterbrunnen is less than that of Wengen, but larger than that of the others.
Meiringen
Meiringen () is a municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. Besides the village of Meiringen, the municipality includes the settlements of Balm, Brünigen, Eisenbolgen, Hausen, Prasti, Sand, Stein, Unterbach, Unterheidon, Wylerli and Zaun. The municipal coat of arms shows a black eagle in a yellow field. ("Or an Eagle displayed Sable crowned, beaked, langued and membered of the first.") Formerly the coat of arms of the entire Oberhasli Talschaft, this design continues the imperial coat of arms.

Located in the canton of Bern at an elevation of above sea level, it is part of the Jungfrauregion and has approximately 1,300 year-round residents, which swells to 5,000 during summer and to 10,000 in the winter. Wengen hosts the classic Lauberhorn ski races of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in January.

Jungfraujoch
The Jungfraujoch (, lit. "maiden saddle") is a saddle connecting two major 4000ers of the Bernese Alps: the Jungfrau and the Mönch. It lies at an elevation of above sea level and is directly overlooked by the rocky prominence of the Sphinx. The Jungfraujoch is a glacier saddle, on the upper snows of the Aletsch Glacier, and part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch area, situated on the boundary between the cantons of Bern and Valais, halfway between Interlaken and Fiesch.
Mürren
Mürren () is a traditional Walser mountain village in the Bernese Highlands of Switzerland, at an elevation of above sea level. It cannot be reached by public road. It is also one of the popular tourist spots in Switzerland, and summer and winter are the seasons when Mürren becomes busy with tourists. The village features a view of the three towering mountains Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Mürren has a year-round population of 450, but has 2000 hotel beds.

Grimselsee
The Grimselsee or Lake Grimsel is an artificial lake near the Grimsel Pass in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. With a volume of 95 million m3 (21 billion imperial gallons, 25 billion US gallons), it is larger than other hydroelectric reservoirs in the Aare headwaters region: Oberaarsee, Räterichsbodensee and Gelmersee. The dam was completed in 1932 and is operated by Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG (KWO). It is located in the municipality of Guttannen.

It expands from Lenk to Boltigen, in a more or less south-north direction (Obersimmental), and from there to the valley exit at Wimmis near Spiez it takes a west-east orientation (Niedersimmental). It comprises the municipalities of Lenk, St. Stephan, Zweisimmen, Boltigen, Oberwil, Därstetten, Erlenbach, Diemtigen and Wimmis. The Simme flows through the valley.

Bachalpsee or Bachsee is a lake with an area of close to the First (which can be reached with a cable car) above Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The lake, located at an elevation of , is split by a natural dam, the smaller part of the lake being lower.

Gelmersee (or Lake Gelmer) is a reservoir in Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The hydroelectric reservoir was completed in 1932, at about the same time as the Grimselsee reservoir, and both are operated by Kraftwerke Oberhasli. The reservoir's volume is and its surface area .

Oberaarsee is a hydroelectric reservoir in the Grimsel area, part of the municipality of Guttannen, Switzerland. Its surface area is . The Oberaar dam was completed in 1953, and is operated by Kraftwerke Oberhasli. It is drained by the Oberaarbach, which flows into the Grimselsee.

Gimmelwald
Gimmelwald () is a small traffic-free village in the Bernese Oberland in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland, and is located between Stechelberg and Mürren, at an elevation of 1363 meters (4472 feet). The village is at the foot of the UNESCO World Heritage site the Jungfrau-Aletsch Protected Area. Gimmelwald is an Allemanic linear village and a Walser settlement first mentioned in a bill of sale in 1346. Because of its very typical and exceptional townscape, Gimmelwald is part of the inventory of Swiss heritage.

Niederhorn
The Niederhorn (elevation 1963 metres) is a peak of the Emmental Alps in the Bernese Oberland near Beatenberg. It is the peak farthest west in the Güggis ridge. From its summit Lake Thun and the entire Bernese Alps can be seen.

Lauenensee
Lauenensee (or Lake Lauenen) are two lakes near Lauenen in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1381 m, their surface area is 0.1 km2: the larger lake has a surface of 8.8 ha, the smaller one of 1.3 ha.

Räterichsbodensee is a lake in Guttannen, Oberhasli, Switzerland. The reservoir has a volume of 25 million m3, a surface area is and is operated by Kraftwerke Oberhasli. It is connected to the river Aare.

The Harderbahn (HB) is one of two funiculars that operate from the town of Interlaken. The Harderbahn leads to the western end of the Harder in the north of Interlaken across the river Aare, in Switzerland.

Burgseewli
Burgseeli (or Burgseewli) is a lake in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. Its surface area is 5.25 ha. It is located between Ringgenberg and Goldswil on the northern shore of Lake Brienz. Swimming is possible at a bathing beach. Given its relatively small size temperatures up to 26 °C are reached.
Engstlensee
Engstlensee is a natural lake used as a reservoir in the municipality of Innertkirchen, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. It is located near Joch Pass at an elevation of 1850 m. It can be reached by gondola and by foot from Titlis.
Unspunnenfest
thumb|A marker commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Unspunnenfest Unspunnenfest is a festival held in the town of Interlaken, Switzerland, near the old ruin of Unspunnen Castle, in the Bernese Alps, approximately once every twelve years, most recently in 2017. The festival highlights traditional Swiss culture and features competitions of Steinstossen (stone throwing), Schwingen (wrestling) and yodeling. The stone-throwing competition uses an stone known as the Unspunnenstein ("Unspunnen Stone"), made of Aare granite from the Hasli valley.

Trübtensee or Triebtenseewli is a lake in the municipality of Guttannen, Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The reservoir's surface area is . Its dam was completed in the 1950s and holds a volume of 1.1 mio m³.
Oberstockensee
Oberstockensee is a small lake in the Canton of Bern, Switzerland. Its surface area is . The lake is located above the village of Erlenbach im Simmental, below Stockhorn. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the "Oberstockensee" was often called the Vorderstockensee and/or Spetbaerglisee. Local residents still refer to it as the "Spetbaerglisee." Vorderstocken and Spetbaergli are the two alpine meadows that are on opposite sides of the lake.
