Five Nights at Freddy's (film)
Five Nights at Freddy's is a 2023 American supernatural horror film based on the video game series of the same name created by Scott Cawthon. It was directed by Emma Tammi and written by Cawthon, Tammi and Seth Cuddeback. The film stars Josh Hutcherson as a troubled security guard who starts a job at a condemned pizzeria where he discovers that its animatronic mascots are possessed by the spirits of murdered children who were abducted by a serial killer decades prior. It additionally features Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard in supporting roles.
The Black Phone
The Black Phone is a 2021 American supernatural horror film directed by Scott Derrickson from a screenplay he wrote with C. Robert Cargill, based on the 2004 short story by Joe Hill. It is the first installment in the Black Phone franchise. It stars Mason Thames as Finney, a teenage boy abducted by a serial child killer known colloquially as the Grabber. When Finney encounters a mystical black rotary phone in captivity, he uses it to plot his escape by communicating with the ghosts of the Grabber's slain victims. Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and James Ransone also feature in the principal cast. Derrickson and Cargill produced The Black Phone in association with Blumhouse Productions CEO Jason Blum. Universal Pictures oversaw the film's commercial distribution, and funding was sourced through a pact with Blumhouse and tax subsidies from the North Carolina state government.

M3GAN (pronounced "Megan") is a 2022 American science fiction horror film with black comedy elements about an artificially intelligent doll who develops self-awareness and becomes hostile toward anyone who comes between her and her human companion. It was directed by Gerard Johnstone from a screenplay by Akela Cooper, based on a story by Cooper and James Wan. Allison Williams and Violet McGraw star, Amie Donald physically portrays M3GAN, and Jenna Davis voices the character. It is the first installment in the M3GAN franchise.

Unfriended (originally titled Cybernatural) is a 2014 American screenlife supernatural horror film directed by Levan Gabriadze and produced by Timur Bekmambetov. Set on a computer screen, the film stars Shelley Hennig, Moses Storm, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Jacob Wysocki, and Courtney Halverson as six high school students in a Skype conversation which is haunted by a student, played by Heather Sossaman, who was bullied by them and killed herself. The film is told almost entirely through a screencast of a MacBook.

It serves as a sequel to The Black Phone (2021), is the second feature film and third overall installment in the Black Phone film series. The film stars Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, and Ethan Hawke reprising their roles from the first film, with Demián Bichir also joining the cast. The story sees siblings Finney and Gwen, along with their friend Ernesto, head to a winter youth camp to uncover a mystery regarding the first victims of the Grabber, whose ghostly presence now haunts the camp.
