Marína
Marína is the name of a Slovak romantic poem by Andrej Sládkovič (Andrej Braxatoris) written in the Winter of 1844 and published two years later in 1845 in Pest. Alongside his lyrico-epical work, Detvan, it is considered the pinnacle of his poetic career. It has been translated into German, Polish, Hungarian and French. The work has components of both love and reflexive poetry. Still, balladic themes are also present, which surge from his sorrowful love for Mária Geržová. '''''Al-Kashshaaf 'an Haqa'iq at-Tanzil, popularly known as Al-Kashshaaf''''' () is a seminal tafsir (commentary on the Qur'an) by Al-Zamakhshari written in the 12th century. Considered a primary source by major scholars, it is famous for its deep linguistic analysis, demonstrations of the supremacy of declamation of the Qur'an, and the representation of the method the Qur'an uses to convey meaning using literary elements and figurative speech. However, it is criticized for the inclusion of Muʿtazilah philosophical views.

Farsnama
Fārsnāma (, "The Book of Fars") is a local Persian-language history and geography of Fars province, Persia, written between 1105 and 1116 during the Seljuk period. It is attributed to the otherwise unknown Ibn al-Balkhi (), a native of Fars who flourished in the 12th century. His ancestors were from Balkh in Khorasan, as his nisba suggests. The work was commissioned by Seljuk ruler Muhammad I Tapar (1105–1118).
