Brontotheriidae
Brontotheriidae (or Titanotheriidae), is a family of extinct mammals belonging to the order Perissodactyla, the order that includes horses, rhinoceroses, and tapirs from the Eocene epoch. Brontotheres had a Holarctic distribution, with the exception of Western Europe: their fossils have been found in North America and Asia, with a few also known from Eastern Europe. In larger and often better-known genera of the group, a paired or battering-ram-like horn was present on the snout above the eye socket, made of bone, unlike the horns of rhinoceroses. However, this feature is not present in all me

Megacerops
Megacerops ("large-horned face") is an extinct genus of brontothere, an extinct group of rhinoceros-like browsers traditionally classified as relatives of horses. Megacerops was endemic to North America during the Late Eocene, during the Chadronian land mammal age.

Embolotherium
Embolotherium (Greek , + , "battering ram beast", or "wedge beast") is an extinct genus of brontothere that lived in Mongolia during the late Eocene epoch. It is most easily recognized by a large bony protuberance emanating from the anterior (front) of the skull. This resembles a battering ram, hence the name Embolotherium. The animal is known from about 12 skulls, several jaws, and a variety of other skeletal elements from the Ulan Gochu formation of Inner Mongolia as well as the Ergilin Dzo Formation of Outer Mongolia.

Eotitanops
Eotitanops ('dawn titan-face') is an extinct genus of brontothere native to North America and Asia.

Palaeosyops
Palaeosyops (Greek: "old" (paleos), "boar" (kapros), "face" (ops)) is a genus of small brontothere which lived during the early to middle Eocene.
Sphenocoelus
Sphenocoelus is an extinct genus of brontothere known from North America and Asia during the Middle Eocene.
Brachydiastematherium
Brachydiastematherium (literally "short diastema beast") is a genus of Eocene brontotheriid. It is the westernmost species of brontothere, with the first fossils of it being found in Transylvania, Romania. Only the type species, B. transylvanicum, is known.
Rhinotitan
Rhinotitan (nose giant) is an extinct genus of brontothere from the Eocene of Mongolia, with two valid species, R. andrewsi and R. kaiseni. The genus included medium to large brontotheres which had long skulls with nasal horns. Like other solid-horned brontotheres, Rhinotitan was sexually dimorphic in horn size. In living mammals, this pattern is found in species that live in groups; males have the larger horns, and use them in ritualized combats with other males to decide control of territories that offer breeding access to females. Most horned brontotheres had dish-shaped skulls assumed to b

Duchesneodus
Duchesneodus is a large brontothere endemic to North America. It lived during the Late Eocene 40.4—37.2 mya, existing for approximately . The skeletal characteristic of the mammal was defined by the dome size that was sexually in two distinct forms. The females had a lower but prominent dome while the males had larger domes. Several species of Duchesneodus have been named historically, though only one is recognized as valid today, D. uintensis.
Mesatirhinus
Mesatirhinus is a genus of brontothere endemic to North America during the Eocene living from 50.3 to 42 mya, existing for approximately .
Aktautitan
Aktautitan is a genus of brontothere from the Eocene of Kazakhstan. The genus contains a single species, A. hippopotamopus.
Diplacodon
Diplacodon ("double-pointed tooth") is an extinct genus of brontothere. Diplacodon fossils have been found in North America and date to the Middle Eocene, during the Uintan land mammal age. Two Diplacodon species are recognized, the type species D. elatus from the Uinta Formation and the larger D. gigan from the Wiggins Formation.
Protitanotherium
Protitanotherium is a genus of brontotheres native to North America during the middle Eocene. It contains one species, P. emarginatum, described in 1895 by the American paleontologist John Bell Hatcher.
Telmatherium
Telmatherium is a genus of a North American brontothere. It lived during the Eocene epoch.
