Esrange
Esrange Space Center or Esrange is Sweden's space and research center located about 40 kilometers east of the town of Kiruna in northern Sweden, owned and operated by the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC). The base itself covers 20 square kilometers, while the impact area for rockets is 5,600 km2. Located 200 km north of the Arctic Circle, the geographic location of Esrange is advantageous thanks to the limited light pollution, allowing for studies of northern lights. The stable climate, limited commercial air traffic and sparsely populated area are further reasons why the location is well suite

Riksgränsen
) is a Swedish ski resort located at the northwest edge of Kiruna Municipality in Lappland, next to the Norwegian border. It is the most northerly ski resort in the world, being roughly north of the Arctic Circle; the skiing season is from February to June, and from the end of May the lifts operate under the midnight sun. One of the pistes crosses the border to Norway and back to Sweden, where there is no border control due to Schengen Area policies.

Rödkallen
Rödkallen is a small uninhabited (summer cabins are in use) Swedish island and lighthouse station located in the Bothnian Bay in the south part of Luleå archipelago. The island was used by fishermen a long time before the lighthouse was built. In 1800 a chapel was built for the fishermen and it survives to this day.

Kronogård
Kronogård is the name of a launch site for sounding rockets in North Sweden at . Kronogård was originally a hunting post for royal foresters and hunters. In the 1950s a rocket launch site was established, from which mainly rockets of the type Nike Cajun were launched to explore the upper atmosphere. After completion of Esrange Kronogard was shut down.
