China Central Television channels

CCTV-1 (CCTV General Channel) is the primary channel of CCTV, the national flagship terrestrial television network of the People's Republic of China. It broadcasts a range of programs from CCTV Headquarters at East 3rd Ring Road in Beijing and is available to both cable and terrestrial television viewers. The terrestrial signal of CCTV-1 is free-to-air across China. However, due to copyright restrictions, the satellite signal of CCTV-1 is encrypted, and smartcards are necessary for decryption.

CCTV-4 is a Chinese free-to-air television channel. It is one of six China Central Television channels that broadcasts outside of China. It airs a variety of programmes, including documentaries, music, news, drama series, sports and children's programmes for the Greater China region, including China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

CCTV-2 is a Chinese free-to-air television channel operated by China Central Television in the People's Republic of China. The channel broadcasts programs on business news, economic information, stock market data, business, industry, economic documentaries, and life services.

CCTV-5 (), also known as the Sports Channel, part of the China Central Television family of networks, is the main sports broadcaster in the People's Republic of China. CCTV-5 began broadcasting on 1 January 1995. CCTV-5 now broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

CCTV-9 is a television channel operated by Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV), broadcasting documentaries in Mandarin Chinese. It shared the name with CCTV's English language documentary channel until 31 December 2016, when the latter was renamed CGTN Documentary.

China Movie Channel refers both to a government-affiliated production agency and to the movie-focused television channel CCTV-6 operated under its direction. The agency, officially known as the "Satellite TV Show Production Facility", is a division of the National Radio and Television Administration of the People's Republic of China. It is responsible for producing content and managing operations for CCTV-6, a dedicated movie channel that forms part of the broader China Central Television system.

CCTV-11 is the Chinese opera channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China launched on July 9, 2001.

CCTV-12 is the law and society focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network in the People's Republic of China. Originally (from 2002 to 2004), the channel was aimed at China's western regions, in alignment with the Go West plan.

CCTV-5+ (), formerly CCTV-HD, is China Central Television's channel designated to broadcast top international sporting events in high-definition. It was tested in Beijing on 24 December 2007, and launched officially on 1 May 2008 as CCTV-HD. CCTV-HD was created specifically for the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Paralympics.

CCTV-17 (, China Central Television Agriculture and Village Channel) is a Chinese free-to-air television channel, owned by China Central Television. It handles the agricultural programmes moved from CCTV-7 after the revamp of the latter channel. This is a state-run TV channel.

CCTV-16 is a Chinese free-to-air television channel, owned by China Central Television. The channel is a localised version of the Olympic Channel, broadcasting primarily in 4K UHD format, with a downscaled feed for HDTV.
