Teleogramma
Teleogramma is an African genus of cichlids with five species. These dark and slender fish barely reach in length and are limited to rapids in the Western Congo River basin in DR Congo/Congo Brazzaville. They are distinctive, with specialized anatomy. They are characterized by elongated heads with tubular nostrils and a lateral line that is not interrupted, as it is in most cichlids.

Pelvicachromis
Pelvicachromis is a genus of small (), brightly coloured cichlids from tropical West Africa and Central Africa. They typically inhabit soft, acidic water (pH 5.6 – 6.9).
Nanochromis
Nanochromis is a genus of small cichlids endemic to the Congo River Basin in Central Africa.
Pelmatochromis
Pelmatochromis is a small genus of fishes in the cichlid family. Of its three species, two are endemic to the Middle Africa, and one is endemic to tropical West Africa. Depending on the exact species, they reach about in length. This genus is sometimes placed in its own clade, informally referred to as the pelmatochromines, and this as the Pelmatochromini, may be the sister taxon to the Chromidotilapiini.
Chromidotilapia
Chromidotilapia is a genus of cichlid fishes. The genus contains 11 species. Of these, 9 are from Central Africa, one (C. guentheri) is found from Liberia to Cameroon, while the remaining species (C. cavalliensis) is restricted to Côte d'Ivoire.
Benitochromis
Benitochromis is a small genus of cichlid fishes that are endemic to riverine and lake habitats in Middle Africa (Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, including the island of Bioko). Several of these species were originally assigned to the genus Chromidotilapia. The name of this genus is derived from the type locality of the Benito River in Equatorial Guinea compounded with chromis, a word which originated with Aristotle and which may derive from the Greek word chroemo, meaning "to neigh" and which may have originally referred to the drums of the family Sciaenidae and which was expanded to include

Chromidotilapiini
Chromidotilapiini is a tribe of small cichlids from tropical West and Middle Africa. There are thirteen genera and over fifty described species in this tribe.
Limbochromis
Limbochromis robertsi is a species of cichlid endemic to Ghana where it is found in the upper reaches of the Pra River Basin. This species has been recorded reaching a maximum length of TL. It is currently the only known member of its genus. The specific name honours the American ichthyologist Tyson R. Roberts who collected the type. Deforestation driven by increased agriculture and small-scale mining operations has reduced the total population of this species by approximately 90% from the early 1990s to 2018.
Wallaceochromis
Wallaceochromis is a genus of fish in the family Cichlidae and subfamily Pseudocrenilabrinae endemic to West Africa. The name of this genus honours the British naturalist and coproponent of the theory of evolution through natural selection, Alfred Russel Wallace (1823–1913).
