Cimicomorpha
The Cimicomorpha are an infraorder of insects in the order Hemiptera, the true bugs. The rostrum and other morphology of some members apparently is adapted to feeding on animals as their prey or hosts. Members include bed bugs, bat bugs, assassin bugs, and pirate bugs.
Cimicoidea
Cimicoidea is a superfamily of insects belonging to the infraorder Cimicomorpha, including bedbugs and related families.

Miroidea
Miroidea is a superfamily of true bugs in the order Hemiptera. There are about 7 families and more than 15,000 described species in Miroidea.

Microphysidae
The Microphysidae are a very small family of true bugs, comprising only 5 extant genera.
Thaumastocoridae
Thaumastocoridae is a family of true bugs in the order Hemiptera. There are about 9 genera and more than 20 described species in the family Thaumastocoridae.

Polyctenidae
The Polyctenidae are a rarely collected family of parasitic bugs of the superfamily Cimicoidea. Polyctenidae species or bat bugs are obligate, hematophagous ectoparasites of bats. These insects are not to be confused with cimicid bat bugs, which are members of the family Cimicidae. A significant relationship appears to occur between the family groups and the species of hosts that indicates co-evolution and specialization. Polyctenidae and Cimicidae are considered to be sister taxa.

Joppeicus paradoxus
Joppeicus paradoxus is a predatory heteropteran bug and the only member of the genus Joppeicus and the family Joppeicidae. Adults are ~3 mm long.
Velocipedidae
Velocipedidae is a family of bugs with three genera and about 30 species in the Indomalayan and Australasian realms. Their behaviour and biology are largely unknown but are known from decaying and fallen wood or on the forest floor close to water. They are active runners and fliers, thought to be predators. Their bodies are often covered in phoretic mites. Many specimens have been taken at lights. Some fossil species have been assigned to the family.
Plokiophilidae
The Plokiophilidae or web-lovers are a small group of insects belonging to the true bugs (Heteroptera). Nine genera (one fossil, from Baltic amber) and 20 species are currently known.
