Pristina
Pristina (or Prishtina; , ) is the capital and largest city of Kosovo. It is the administrative center of the eponymous municipality and district.

Prizren
Prizren (, ; ) is the second most populous city and municipality of Kosovo and seat of the eponymous municipality and district. It is located on the banks of the Prizren River between the foothills of the Sharr Mountains in southern Kosovo. Prizren experiences a continental climate with some mediterranean influences.

Gjilan
Gjilan () or Gnjilane (), is the fourth-largest city in Kosovo, functioning as both a municipality and the administrative centre of the Gjilan District. According to the 2024 census, the municipality has a population of 82,901, with the majority of residents living in the city itself.

Ferizaj
Ferizaj, or Uroševac, is a city and a municipality in Kosovo. It is the third largest city in Kosovo by population and also the seat of Ferizaj Municipality and the Ferizaj District. According to the last census of 2024, the municipality of Ferizaj has 109,255 inhabitants.
Podujeva
Podujevë or Besianë ( or Besiana) or Podujevo () is a city and municipality in the Pristina District in Kosovo. Podujevë is the largest municipality of Kosovo since it covers and is located in the historical and geographical region of Llap, named after the Llapi River, which flows through the city. According to the 2024 census, Podujevë has 70,975 inhabitants, making it the seventh most populous city in Kosovo after Peja and Gjakova.

Kaçanik
Kaçanik () or Kačanik (, ), is a town and municipality located in the Ferizaj District of southern Kosovo. According to the 2024 census, Kaçanik’s urban population, including the Bob neighbourhood, is approximately 10,000, while the municipality as a whole has 27,742 inhabitants.The municipality covers an area of , including the town of Kaçanik and 31 villages.

Vushtrri
Vushtrri (; , Vučitrn) is a city and municipality located in the Mitrovica District in Kosovo. Vushtrri has a population of 61,528 and a total area of , which accounts for approximately 3.2% of the territory of Kosovo.

Rahovec
Rahovec () or Orahovac (), is a town and municipality located in the District of Gjakova in Kosovo. According to the 2024 census, the town of Rahovec has 13,642 inhabitants, while the municipality has 41,799 inhabitants. It is also the center of the sports clubs KF Rahoveci, KB Rahoveci and KH Rahoveci.

Štrpce (Serbian Cyrillic: Штрпце) or Shtërpcë () is a town and municipality located in the Ferizaj District in Kosovo. As of 2024, it has a population of 10,771 inhabitants.

Deçan
Deçan (; ; , ) is a town and municipality in the district of Gjakova, Kosovo. The municipality has an area of and it includes the town and 37 smaller settlements. According to the last census of 2024, the municipality has a population of 27,775.

Klina
Klina (; ) is a town and municipality located in the District of Peja of north-western Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the town of Klina has 5,542 inhabitants, while the municipality has 38,496 inhabitants. It is located at the confluence of the river Klina into the White Drin. A symbol of Klina are the Mirusha Waterfalls.
On 25 July 2025 a temperature of was registered in Klina, the highest ever temperature registered in Kosovo.

Lipjan () or Lipljan () is a city and municipality located in the District of Pristina in Kosovo. According to 2024 census, the municipality had 55,044 inhabitants, of whom 13,092 lived in the urban area.
Leposavić
Leposavić (, ), also known as Leposaviq or Albanik ( or Albaniku), is a town and the northernmost municipality in the Mitrovica District in Kosovo. As of 2015, it has an estimated population of 18,600 inhabitants. The municipality covers an area of which makes it the fifth largest in Kosovo, and consists of the town and 72 villages.

Istog
Istog or Burim ( or Burimi), or Istok (), is a town and municipality located in the district of Peja, Kosovo. According to the 2011 census, the city of Istog has 5,115 inhabitants, while the municipality has 39,289 inhabitants. Based on the population estimates from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics in 2016, the municipality has 39,982 inhabitants.
