thumb|alt=montage of four birds|Birds are avian dinosaurs, and phylogenetic taxonomy includes over 11,000 extant species in the group Dinosauria. Dinosaurs are a diverse group of reptiles of the clade Dinosauria. They existed through most of the Mesozoic era, first appearing early in the Triassic period, They became the dominant terrestrial vertebrates after the Triassic–Jurassic extinction event 201.3 mya and their dominance continued throughout the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The fossil record shows that birds are feathered dinosaurs, having evolved from earlier theropods during th

Mokele-mbembe
In several Bantu mythologies, mokele-mbembe (also written as "mokèlé-mbèmbé") is a mythical water-dwelling entity that is believed to exist in the Congo River Basin. It is variously described as a reptilian creature, a spirit, or a member of the extinct lineage of sauropods.

Agnosphitys
Agnosphitys (; "unknown begetter"; sometimes mistakenly called Agnostiphys or Agnosphytis) is a genus of dinosauriform that lived during the Late Triassic. It contains only one species, the type species A. cromhallensis. Its remains include an ilium, maxilla, astragalus and humerus, which date variously from the Norian and Rhaetian stages of the Late Triassic, or possibly as late as the Hettangian stage of the Early Jurassic. The fissure fill at Avon, of which Agnosphitys was probably recovered from, was a sinkhole formed by the dissolution of Lower Carboniferous limestones.
Eshanosaurus
Eshanosaurus is a genus of a dinosaur from the early Jurassic Period. It is known only from a fossil partial lower jawbone, found in China. It may be a therizinosaurian, and if so the earliest known coelurosaur.
Ornithoscelida
Ornithoscelida () is a proposed clade that includes various major groupings of dinosaurs. An order Ornithoscelida was originally proposed by Thomas Henry Huxley but later abandoned in favor of Harry Govier Seeley's division of Dinosauria into Saurischia and Ornithischia. The term was revived in 2017 after a new cladistic analysis by Baron et al.
Lametasaurus
Lametasaurus (; ), is a chimeric genus of dinosaur known from the Lameta Formation of Jabalpur, India. The type species is L. indicus. The weight estimate of Lametasaurus, on the basis of the robust tibia, is , similar morphology can be seen in the tibia of Pycnonemosaurus, which indicates similar weight estimates.
Apatodon
Apatodon is a dubious genus of dinosaur that may have been a theropod. The type, and only species, A. mirus, was named in 1877 by Othniel Charles Marsh. It was found in the Late Jurassic-aged Morrison Formation of Colorado.

Thecospondylus
Thecospondylus (THEEK-o-SPON-di-lus, "sheath vertebra") is a dubious genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of England. Scientists are unsure as to whether Thecospondylus was a saurischian or an ornithischian.
