Echiniscoidea

Echiniscoidea is an order of tardigrades, a phylum of water-dwelling, eight-legged, segmented micro-animals. It was first described by Richters in 1926.

It is the only known species within the genus Carphania, which is the only genus in the family Carphaniidae, which is part of the order Echiniscoidea.
