Hardangerfjord
The Hardangerfjord () is the fifth longest fjord in the world and the second longest fjord in Norway. It is located in the Hardanger region of Vestland county in western Norway. The fjord stretches from the Atlantic Ocean into the mountainous interior of Norway along the Hardangervidda plateau. The innermost point of the fjord reaches the town of Odda.
Hardangervidda
Hardangervidda () is a mountain plateau () in central southern Norway, covering parts of Vestland, Telemark, and Buskerud counties. It is the largest plateau of its kind in Europe, with a cold year-round alpine climate, and one of Norway's largest glaciers, Hardangerjøkulen, is situated here. Much of the plateau is protected as part of Hardangervidda National Park. Hardangervidda is a popular tourist and leisure destination, and it is ideal for many outdoor activities.
Vøringfossen
Vøringsfossen or Vøringen () is the 83rd highest waterfall in Norway on the basis of total fall. It lies at the top of the Måbødalen valley in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county. It is located near Norwegian National Road 7, which connects Oslo with Bergen. It has a total drop of , and a major drop of . It is perhaps the most famous waterfall in the country and a major tourist attraction on the road down from the Hardangervidda plateau to Hardangerfjord.
Hardangerjøkulen
Hardangerjøkulen () is the sixth largest glacier in mainland Norway. It is located in Eidfjord Municipality and Ulvik Municipality in Vestland county. It is located about northeast of the village of Eidfjord, about south of the village of Finse, and about west of the village of Haugastøl.
Måbødalen
Måbødalen () is a narrow valley in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The long valley begins at the village of Øvre Eidfjord and ends at the Sysendalen valley on the western side of the Hardangervidda plateau. The valley contains one of the most notable waterfalls in the country: Vøringsfossen, which is easily accessible via Norwegian National Road 7 (Rv7).
Sysenvatnet
Sysenvatnet () is a lake in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The lake lies at the north end of the Sysendalen valley, about east of the famous Vøringsfossen waterfall. The lake is dammed on the south end by a large stone embankment, which is used as the main reservoir for the Sima Hydroelectric Power Station. The Sysen Dam can be seen from Norwegian National Road 7, which runs near the lake's southern shore.

Eidfjordvatnet () is a moraine-dammed lake in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The lake is located immediately southeast of the village of Eidfjord. The village of Øvre Eidfjord lies on the southern shore of the lake. Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the western shore of the lake. The water enters the lake through the Bjoreio and Veig rivers, and the water empties from the lake through the Eio River.

Halnefjorden
Halnefjorden is a large lake on the border of Vestland and Buskerud counties in Norway. It is located in Hol Municipality and Nore og Uvdal Municipality in Buskerud county and in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county. At , it is among the largest lakes located on the vast Hardangervidda plateau. The Norwegian National Road 7 runs along the northern shore of the lake, and that is the only road access to the lake. The lake is one of the headwaters of the river Numedalslågen.

Nordmannslågen is a lake in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. At , it is the largest lake in southern part of Vestland county. The lake lies on the great Hardangervidda plateau in the central part of the Hardangervidda National Park. The lake lies about southeast of the village of Eidfjord and about northeast of the town of Odda. The lake is part of the headwaters of the river Numedalslågen.

Tinnhølen is a lake in Norway that lies in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county and a very small part crosses into Nore og Uvdal Municipality in Buskerud county. The lake lies just inside Hardangervidda National Park on the vast Hardangervidda plateau. The northern part of the lake is accessible by road.

The Bjoreio is a river in Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland, Norway. The river is long, and it has a drainage basin of . Its natural average discharge is , but this is considerably less today because of hydroelectric infrastructure along the watercourse.
Skaupsjøen
Skaupsjøen is a lake in Norway. It is located on the border of Nore og Uvdal Municipality in Buskerud county and Eidfjord Municipality in Vestland county. The lake lies just north of the Hardangervidda National Park on the vast Hardangervidda plateau. The lake outflows to the river Skaupa, which flows into the larger lake Halnefjorden to the northeast. The nearest road access is the Norwegian National Road 7, which passes about northwest of the lake.
